Fujiwara no Tarashiko (藤原帯子)

FUJIWARA no Tarashiko (year of birth unknown - July 2, 794) was a female nobles in the Nara Period. Her father was FUJIWARA no Momokawa and her mother was FUJIWARA no Moroane.

Although she became a wife of Imperial Prince Ate (later Emperor Heizei), she died of illness in 794 that fell on the year of the transfer of national capital to the city of Heian-kyo. In 806, at the time of enthronement of Emperor Heizei, she was conferred the title of Empress posthumously.
